Design for disassembly: Design new buildings to be easily disassembled and reused in the future
Reduce construction waste: Consider modular design and off-site construction
Select recyclable materials: Choose materials that can be recycled into the same type of material

Use materials that support life throughout their life cycles
Eliminate hazardous substances
Choose products from manufacturers that secure human rights
Choose products that support and regenerate natural cycles of life
Choose products that reduce carbon emissions
